Michi is already engaged to a salaryman, she is not really sure if she wants to marry him. All she knows is that this is what her family will want. Hikaru is a troubled kid who is having problems at home and has been expelled numerous times from school. He is transferred to the school where Michi teaches.One morning, Michi comes out of her boyfriend's place, after he had asked her to marry her (in a very unromantic and cold manner), she is walking in the street dazed. Hikaru is speeding on his motorcyle and the two of them collide.
When Michi looks at him and he looks at her, she is overcome by a strange feeling. Then she discovers that he is transferred to her school and is her student. The more time they spend together outside of school grounds, they start to have strong feelings for each other. Later, they fall in love and have a romantic night at the school library.
She cancels her engagement with her boyfriend. When she is forced to resign from the school, she declares her love for Hikaru in front of the entire school. Her parents (esp. Her father) are disappointed and feel anger & shame. Hikaru's mother is against his relationship with Michi and try to send him to America to go to school. But nothing can separate and nothing can destroy the love between Michi and Hikaru.'
Majo no Jouken' is a very interesting drama about falling in love for the right reasons, but is not approved by society. This drama was so good, can finish watching it in one day. And then want to watch it again and again.
